GLOBE is a worldwide hands-on, school-based science program that works in collaboration with NASA, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), the NSF (National Science Foundation) and the US Department of State.  This program is part of our study on weather and climate.  The students participate in the program by:
bullettaking scientifically valid measurements in different protocols including atmospheric studies; hydrology; soils; and land cover
bulletreporting measured data through the internet
bulletcreating maps and graphs on the GLOBE website to analyze the data
bulletcollaborating with scientists and GLOBE students around the world
